Extending tinyMCE plugin for U BuddyPress Forum Editor

This is not required option but extension for ‘U BuddyPress Forum Editor’.

tinyMCE is WYSIWYG HTML editor, which is WordPress’ built-in editor.
U BuddyPress Forum Editor is editor for BuddyPress forum.

 

How to extend tinyMCE plugin.

  1. Download tinyMCE.
  2. Upload your downloaded folder(your-download/jscript/tiny_mce) to WordPress’ plugin folder. you can rename this folder.
  3. Fill the ‘Plugin directory’ with the uploaded folder name
  4. Fill the ‘Plugin names’ with tinyMCE plugin names you want.
  5. Add buttons to the ‘Primary Buttons group’ or ‘Secondary Buttons group’. Button name is usually same with plugin name.
  6. * ‘media’ is currently disabled, which has some errors I couldn’t fix. if you would embed something like Flash, use the HTML dialog.

    Lee Taehan Hello sir, I am a network manager BuddyPress teacher schools in Brazil.
    We use your plugin (U and U Extended Comment BuddyPress Forum Editor). However we have a difficulty with mathematical equations. In another system we use the plug-in Equations Codecogs of Tiny MCE.  http://www.codecogs.com/latex/integration/tinymce/install.php

    I would like to have your help installing the plug-ins in Equations Tiny MCE pluginusing your U BuddyPress Forum Editor

      Wow! awesome plugin. There are no problem to extend the equation plugin. however solution is already given at this post…
      Anyway I tried to, and it works well. please read again “How to extend tinyMCE plugin.” and refer to below screenshot of my settings.
